Taylor Swift fans have spotted a clue as to why Travis Kelce is her “soulmate” after they uncovered a clue from 2009.
The 34-year-old hitmaker started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce last summer. The pair connected after he expressed an interest in her during his podcast, with him revealing that he tried to give her his number on a friendship bracelet at one of her gigs, but didn’t get the chance to.
Last night in Edinburgh for the acoustic set, Taylor sat at the piano before she played a mashup of All Of The Girls You Loved Before from Lover with Crazier from the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, after Taylor performed the song Crazier at the second Edinburgh show on Saturday night, one fan shared some snaps of actor Lucas Till who stars in the Hannah Montana movie. They penned: “So you mean to tell me Lucas Till, who’s character in ybwm mv [You Belong With Me music video] played football, also played a character named Travis in a movie Taylor wrote Crazier for? yeah.”
“The universe was literally telling her who her soulmate was going to be since the beginning,” penned a fellow fan. Another then gushed: “What?! This just keeps getting crazier. The invisible strings are stringing…hard!”
“His jersey number is just SO CLOSE,” said another, pointing out how in the YBWM music video, his character wears a football jersey with the number 12 on it – which is close to Taylor’s lucky number of 13. The original poster then replied: “Someone pointed out that it’s the same number as Mecole Hardman’s, who caught the winning touchdown during the sb [Super Bowl] this year.”
Someone else then swooned: “What? Are we kidding right now. All these serendipities, coincidences, synchronicities, INVISIBLE STRINGS. My heart. Past life soul mate connections. What’s there not to love? They are beautiful & definitely belong together. Rooting for them.”
This comes as Taylor gears up for her final show in Edinburgh this evening. The hitmaker will then perform in Liverpool and Cardiff before moving on to the capital city of London on June 21.
