Kelce began speaking about the moments he won’t forget during his NFL career, and brought up the time that the Eagles lost to the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVII, the first time two brothers had ever faced off in a Super Bowl. Kelce admitted that he was heartbroken when the Eagles lost 38-35, but felt pride seeing his brother win.
“I won’t forget falling short to the Chiefs and the conflicted feeling of a man’s heartbreak I had selfishly,” Kelce started. “For myself and for my teammates. And at the same time the amount of pride I had for my brother. Climbed the mountain top once again.”We imagined ourselves as star players from that time. We’d envision making the winning plays day after day, we won countless Super Bowls in our minds before ever leaving the house.
“When we weren’t playing, we were at the others ones games. Seated in a lawn chair or a bench, Capri-Sun in our hand that mom had packed. Cheering during the game, and waiting afterward to celebrate a win together, or offer encouragement after a defeat.
