Travis Kelce has been described as ‘the purest dude I’ve ever met’ by NFL star David Njoku, as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend was seen at a meet-and-greet with children after taking part in the Cleveland Browns tight end’s softball charity event this weekend.
Kelce – who previously starred as a baseball player in high school – appeared at the game on Saturday alongside some of Njoku’s teammates, including Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, Deshaun Watson and Amari Cooper, at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio – a suburb of Cleveland.
He even won the home run derby before the charity contest, much to the delight of his hometown crowd, as he connected on his final swing before sending another ball over the fence to clinch the win.
Kelce then flipped his bat in celebration and took a victory lap around the bases.
‘He is one of the purest human beings I have ever met in my life. Always means well. Just a great overall dude,’ Njoku told reporters after the high-profile, local event.

Kelce was seen hugging kids of the winning team after being awarded a trophy for his batting skills, with the three-time Super Bowl champion adorably asking a little girl at one point: ‘What’s up gorgeous? It’s nice to see you!’
Kelce has become close in recent years with Njoku, who has attended his offseason Tight End University in the past.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old, nine-time Pro Bowler has always backed Cleveland’s baseball team – the Guardians – and last year throw out an ill-fated ceremonial first pitch that he spiked like a football
Kelce has stayed busy throughout the offseason. He recently took part in the Chiefs’ organized team activities and visited the White House when the Super Bowl champions were hosted by President Joe Biden.
