Earlier this week the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in a battle of playoff-bound teams.

Kansas City dominated the contest, walking out of Pittsburgh with a 29-10 win and clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff race in the process. During the contest, star tight end Travis Kelce had one of his best games of the season, hauling in eight receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown.

That touchdown reception saw Kelce break the franchise mark for touchdown in a Chiefs player’s career with 77, passing the legendary Tony Gonzalez. Unfortunately for Kelce, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift wasn’t in the building to watch.

While he was busy on the field, Swift was apparently busy making a major decision about their lives together. According to a report from Page Six, Swift is moving her “home base” to Nashville to be closer to Kelce.

“It looks like this may be Taylor’s domestic era. … It also looks like Taylor is going to make Nashville more of a home base than LA or NY since it’s closer to Kansas City, and her mom, Andrea, loves [Nashville] too,” an insider told Page Six.

The report also detailed how she feels about the wives and girlfriends of Chiefs players, who she’s become close with since starting her relationship with Kelce in the summer of 2023.

“Taylor is really embracing WAG life,” the report continued. “I think she’s adapted so well to WAG life because she truly understands what it’s like to be part of a team – especially coming off Eras where she formed such a close connection with her band, dancers, singers and crew. She appreciates that sort of camaraderie and collaboration, that kind of chosen family. She fully gets and respects those bonds and why they need to be supported.”

Kansas City closes out the season with a game against the Denver Broncos. With the No. 1 seed in their back pocket, it’s unclear if the team’s starters will play.
