Simone Biles just announced her engagement to her partner, Jonathan Owens. The Olympic gymnast shared photos of the proposal by the safety for the Houston Texans by posting them on Instagram on Tuesday, February 15.

“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles captioned the post. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”

Owens, responded in the comments, “Ready for forever with you ❤️.” The GOAT is getting married!

AFrom meeting on a dating app to a proposal with the most gorgeous ring, Biles and Owens have been couple goals for athletes—and us normal people—everywhere. The two constantly support each other in their competitions, whether it’s Biles coming to watch Owens at practice or Owens being Biles’s rock at the Olympics. When Biles faced backlash for withdrawing from Olympic events, Owens had her back.

“Imma ride with you through whatever baby,” he wrote then. “Your strength and courage is unmatched and you inspire me more and more everyday SB. You always gone be my champ baby and don’t you ever forget that, i love you so much and i can’t wait till you come home and i get to see that beautiful smile again. Owens also gushed about their relationship during a June 2021 interview with Texas Monthly. “This was a match made in heaven,” he said. “There’s no better person for me. She loves me, she’s so affectionate. I just love that. And it’s just intoxicating seeing how much work she puts into everything.” Congratulations are certainly in order!
