Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Matthews hit out at “disrespectful women” who try to “hit” on the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
Matthews and Mahomes have been married since March last year, when they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Hawaii. The childhood sweethearts also have two children with each other, a Compared to other wives and girlfriends in the NFL and other mega sports, Matthews certainly fits into the more laid back category. However, this does not mean she is free from the disrespect and judgement of fans and other wives and girlfriends in the sports world.

Matthews did not hold back during a questions and answers session with her 1.3million followers on Instagram. When asked by another fan how she “deals with all the women trying to get after your husband,” she replied, “lol it’s actually really sad how disrespectful some women are…”
She then added, “but they are a waste of my time & not going to disturb my peace,” alongside some laughing face emojis. Nowadays, Matthews absorbs the disrespect and makes light of it with a little giggle of her own, but that does not mean the criticism never used to get under her skin.
