Wedding day is almost here for lovebirds Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews.
The two started dating back when they were high school students in Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas. Mahomes popped the question back in September of 2020, surprising Matthews with an engagement in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium on the same date he received his Super Bowl LIV ring.
This time last year, Matthews shared with the world that they’d picked out a location and set the date for the wedding. Now, guests are arriving and flocking to Wailea, Hawaii on Maui to see the two tie the knot sometime this weekend.
Patrick’s brother, Jackson Mahomes, announced earlier this week that he would be the best man for the wedding.
Kansas City Chiefs teammates such as Orlando Brown Jr., Travis Kelce (and girlfriend Kayla Nicole), Demarcus Robinson, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Tyrann Mathieu (and fiancée Sydni Russell) are among those who are expected to attend. Mathieu has already begun posting some pictures from the island.
