Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hit a young fan with his golf ball at Capital One’s The Match on Thursday, but made up for it by signing a couple of items for the boy and getting Travis Kelce to do the same.

Mahomes, 27, joked with the boy that at least the ball, which hit him on his hip, took a good bounce that benefited the Chiefs QB.

Kelce, 33, was the MVP of the contest and sank the putt that secured the victory for him and Mahomes over NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Mahomes wasn’t the only one who hit a spectator. Thompson did the same, but it was much worse.Thompson, 33, struck a fan with a golf ball so hard that he tumbled over. The Warriors veteran also signed the fan’s ball.
Like Mahomes, Thompson was also hitting fores left and right all day long, and had to tolerate teammate Draymond Green talking trash.
