Patrick Mahomes’ fiancée Brittany Matthews landed in the headlines this week when some of her old tweets resurfaced online.
First, she dealt with fans discovering a series of racial tweets from a few years back. That went over about as well as you’d expect.
Once that controversy died down, further digging unearthed some tweets she sent out regarding Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who just this past weekend beat down the Kansas City Chiefs en route to his seventh Super Bowl ring.Then you had the aforementioned scandals involving Matthews.
And of course you Mama Mahomes displaying poor sportsmanship with a pretty mean-spirited message directed at Tom Brady’s wife.
All things pass and this will too, but it definitely feels like there’s a bit of a cloud hanging over the Mahomes’ heads these days.
