Sterling and Bronze could help welcome their new baby sister, QB1′s third baby with wife Brittany Mahomes, during the NFL playoffs in Kansas City.
After a Kansas City Chiefs win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Quarterback Patrick Mahomes dropped a baby bombshell on fans as he announced the impending birth of his third child with his wife of nearly three years, Brittany.
“I thought it was a full team – defense stepped up, offense stepped up – everyone had their imprint on the game,” Mahomes said of Wednesday’s game. “I told my pregnant wife I was going to get the No. 1 seed so we can have that baby – so we got the one seed.”
The Mahomes’ originally revealed they were pregnant with their second daughter in July through an Instagram post that featured both of their other children – Sterling Skye, who was born on Feb. 20, 2021, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who was born on Nov. 28, 2022.
The news means the star quarterback could welcome his third child during the playoff season on the road to a possible threepeat Super Bowl win. The Chiefs are expected to play the last regular-season game on Sunday, Jan. 5, against the Broncos in Denver.
With a No. 1 seed, the Chiefs are expected to play all playoff games in Arrowhead Stadium. The team will also get a first-round playoff bye week.
