It’s no surprise that Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royal Family is not the best.
But the American wants that to change and that is why she has asked for a meeting with King Charles III, in order to put personal conflicts behind them.
Neil Sean of Sky News Australia reported that the meeting would take place before Markle travels back to California. In addition, the Duchess of Sussex’s request has been made through a formal letter.
The letter would be “an opportunity to clear the air, put the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years” according to Sean.
After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, much of the focus was on Markle and how she would be received by the other members of the family.
When they flew to Scotland on the day of the Queen’s death, Markle was not allowed into the residence where the relatives were staying.
Moreover, as the royals walked in the procession with her family, she and her husband were eventually snubbed by being placed in the second row.
