The only thing better than getting nominated for an Emmy? Getting nominated for an Emmy with your boyfriend, also nominated for an Emmy, by your side. Kaley Cuoco is a lucky gal.
Despite starring in sitcoms for decades, Cuoco had never been acknowledged by the Television Academy until last year, when she scored her first nom for her role as Cassie Bowden in HBO Max’s comedy-mystery The Flight Attendant.
Though she didn’t win, she seemed to enjoy the night in her highlighter-yellow dress!Kaley Cuoco: queen of having a good time regardless. And the noms keep coming! On July 12, Cuoco found out she’d been nominated again, for The Flight Attendant season 2, and recorded her reaction to hearing the news.
In a video posted to Instagram, she sits on the couch with her boyfriend, actor Tom Pelphrey, and starts to tear up after her name is announced. As she mentioned in the post, Pelphrey also has a nomination for his guest role on Netflix’s Ozark, though he didn’t know that when the video was taken.

Pelphrey also posted the clip to his Instagram account, writing, “ALSO… CONGRATULATIONS TO MY FAVORITE ACTRESS!!! Such beautiful, brave work. Beyond grateful to share this with you today… @televisionacad #emmyawards @kaleycuoco.”
