The singer, and her partner A$AP Rocky, attended the Belgian premiere of the children’s film on Saturday, June 28. Nodding to the occasion, Rihanna wore an almost Smurf blue look from the French house—choosing a celadon green silk chiffon top and skirt. Its sheer fabric was embroidered with crystals, porcelain sequins, and feathers; overall, it took the atelier 840 hours to make.

The look was inspired by Chanel haute couture’s spring 2003 collection. At the time, Vogue’s review of the collection focused on its daintiness: “The fondant colors—palest pink, peach and blue—the overlays of black lace and the scatterings of silver sequins made every piece a vision of femininity.
