Jennifer Lopez, 53, caught a flight from her home in Miami to Tampa for the 55th annual Super Bowl. It was only last year that the singer went down in history for her incredible show stopping performance with Shakira, as the two music icons tore up the stage during their half time show.
But this year she attended as a spectator, taking to Instagram to share a snap of herself on her private plane.
She captioned the photo: :#SBLV Bound,” accompanied by football emojis.
Her ex fiancé Alex Rodriguez was also present, as he snapped a photo in front of the jet with two friends and asked his fans who would win.
He quizzed: “Super Bowl Sunday. Who you got Chiefs or Bucks?”Jennifer also couldn’t decide who she was backing, letting out a grunt in a video of the pair walking towards the plane.
But fans were glad to see her back in the sporting arena after she left the US in astonishment with her pole dancing efforts last year.
JLo hit the pole during the Waiting For Tonight portion of the show and 40 male dancers surrounded her in glory while the crowd looked on in awe.
Rodriguez, who has been engaged to Lopez since March 2019, also went full fanboy during the performance.
Reminiscing on her time in the spotlight, J Lo shared some throw back pictures and videos from her rehearsals. This year, The Weeknd lit the stadium up with his medley of hits and stunning visuals, in a performance that reportedly cost him $7 million of his own hard-earned cash.
While the The Kansas City Chiefs took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fans geared up for the iconic half time show and the majority of viewers weren’t disappointed.
He began with his hit tune Starboy, shortly followed by a rendition of other songs.
His backing dancers had their faces wrapped in bandages, an aesthetic the artist has explored recently during the promo of his latest album After Hours, a narrative of how he views celebrity culture. But some fans weren’t feeling the energy put into the concert and voiced their opinions online.
