Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed his plans if he were to ever occupy the Oval Office as President of the United States.
Kelce has never declared his aspirations to leave football in light of a political career, like former Auburn head coach and current United States senator Tommy Tuberville.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has dabbled with politicians during White House visits to celebrate the Chiefs’ last two championships.
Kelce said he would take Air Force One to Hawaii on a vacation. When asked by his teammate, Joshua Williams, who would be the plane, Kelce had his teammates in mind.
‘A squad!’ Kelce responded as part of a TikTok recorded at the White House. ‘I think we can all fit on there.’
Kelce did not say whether girlfriend, and possible future First Lady should he be elected, Taylor Swift, would be flying with his ‘squad’ to Hawaii.
President Joe Biden let Travis Kelce speak during the White House visit from the podium with the official seal on it.
Kelce said ‘my fellow Americans!’ into the microphone before saying how Secret Service mentioned the possibility to him of getting tased. Kelce quickly retreated to join his teammates.
Williams asked others on the Chiefs what they would also do as President for a day.
Kansas City head coach Andy Reid said he would have kept Monte Cristo sandwiches at the buffet for the team’s White House visit.
Chiefs defensive lineman George Karlaftis said he would fly his family over from Greece to spend time with them at the White House.
The Chiefs will look to become the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row with another championship run this upcoming season.
Kelce will have a huge say in whether that feat becomes reality.
