She’s making the most of the last few days of summer.And Hilary Duff lapped up the sun in a striking orange bikini as she hosted a pool party with her pals in Los Angeles during the long holiday weekend.
The 31-year-old actress shared just a few snaps of her fun-filled day in the water with her 10-month-old daughter Banks and seven-year-old son Luca.
Little Banks seems to be a budding fashionista as she was later rocking a white, long-sleeved swimsuit while attempting to stand up on her own.
Luca was having the time of his life climbing up and down a massive colorful bouncer in the backyard.
‘How we made this group shot happen I don’t know,’ she wrote across a photo of all of her friends and family at the BBQ.
Hilary’s likely enjoying the last few days off before embarking on her next big project: rebooting her famous Disney sitcom Lizzie McGuire.
The So Yesterday songstress revealed the big news during the D23 expo in Anaheim last month, with an incredible amount of fanfare to follow.
Duff starred as the lead character in the classic show which aired on the popular children’s network for three years before turning into a movie.
‘The conversations have gone on for a couple of years and the timing just didn’t seem right and now Lizzie is turning 30,’ she told People. ‘For me, she was everybody’s best friend and she was there for us.’
Part of the series will see Lizzie trying to ‘find her way’ in life in her thirties as she pursues life and love in New York City.
‘We toyed around with her being a fashion designer because that’s obviously a big part of the show, but I’m like, “I think that’s too obvious,”‘ Duff said. ‘She has a few really cool quirks and her job is really cool, but she hasn’t totally found her way and I think that’s part of her journey.’
