Earlier this month, Mahomes became one of the investors supporting F1 team Alpine, along with professional golfer Rory McIlroy and fellow Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
Leading the consortium is the private investment firm Otro Capital, which in June 2023 announced an investment of 200 million euros, or roughly $211 million, in Alpine F1. Other investors in the venture include Rob McElhenney and actor Ryan Reynolds
The two-time Super Bowl MVP is also an investor in a Major League Baseball franchise and a soccer team, so this isn’t Mahomes’ first foray into the sports team world.
