A Chiefs coach attempted to give Kelce another helmet, but Reid stopped him.
Reid then spoke to Kelce and appeared to bump into the star tight end.
Kelce would return to the field as the Chiefs were given a new set of downs after a fourth-down pass conversion from punter Tommy Townsend.
