Gracie Hunt has got Jackson Mahomes’ back.
Hunt — the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt — defended Patrick Mahomes’ brother when asked whether there is a misconception about him following criticism over his social media posts.
“I think Patrick Mahomes has a wonderful family – from Brittany to Jackson,” the 24-year-old Hunt told Fox News Digital. “They are wonderful people and we are so blessed to have them as part of our organization and are huge rocks in Patrick’s life.
“I do think that we live in a culture that’s often quick to criticize and slow to forgive. But I think we need to be one that’s quick to forgive and slow to criticize.”
Last season, Jackson made headlines on a number of occasions for his larger-than-life presence at Chiefs games, where he attracted attention for his TikTok videos, dancing on the sidelines and engaging in altercations with fans.
Last February, Pat McAfee called Jackson and Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Matthews, “the tag team of insufferability” for drawing attention to themselves on NFL sidelines and at

Jackson has one million followers on TikTok, while Matthews has over one million followers on Instagram.
In September 2021, Jackson was filmed pouring a bottle of water over a bunch of Ravens fans that were taunting him and Matthews following the Chiefs’ 36-35 loss in Baltimore.
Mahomes defended his brother and wife in a press conference and said that the whole situation wasn’t captured on video.
