There was happy news for Brock Purdy this weekend, as he asked his long-term girlfriend Jenna Brandt to marry him… and she said yes!
The pair met at Iowa State, where she played volleyball and where Purdy played football, before being drafted into the NFL with the last pick of the 2022 NFL draft, going to the San Francisco 49ers.
He then proceeded to have a super rookie season as injuries opened up the starting spot, leading the 49ers all the way to the NFC championship game, where he himself suffered an injury.
On Sunday, the quarterback shared a photo on Instagram, showing the moment when he asked his partner to marry him.
“My Jenna girl forever, I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ,” he wrote as the caption.
“Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!”Fans responded to the Instagram post to congratulate the soon-to-be-married couple, while many joked about how Purdy is continuing his success off the field.
“This will go down as the greatest year of anyone’s life in the history of the world,” said one follower.
“Bro is allergic to losing,” added another fan of the quarterback.
