Brittany Mahomes has opened up on learning some hard life lessons as she inadvertently rose to fame alongside her Super Bowl winning husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
They are one of the most famous couples in the NFL but while Patrick, 27, would have been prepared for fame to follow him away from the football field, Brittany had to learn to live with it.
Speaking to CBS Mornings on Monday Brittany, also 27, said: ‘I was not prepared for this.And at such a young age. We were in love and I loved him with all of my heart. But, you know, I didn’t expect it to skyrocket this soon, and us kind of just being thrown into the fire like this.’
In January 2022, she went viral when she sprayed Chiefs fans with champagne from her private suite at the Arrowhead Stadium and was taken aback at the response.
