However, if you’re in his orbit, like fiancée Brittany Matthews and brother Jackson are, the peanut gallery’s tolerance for shenanigans is much lower.Jackson caught the ire of NFL fans after he shot a TikTok video of himself dancing on a logo of the late Sean Taylor’s number the day it was being retired by the Washington Commanders. In Brittany Matthews’ case, her tendency to, understandably, be biased towards the Chiefs has seemingly rubbed fans the wrong way. She complained that the “referees are never on the Chiefs side” after Kansas City’s 38-20 loss against the Buffalo Bills.

The Chiefs’ immense success since Mahomes took over as the starting quarterback has already put a target on their back. Sustained dominance breeds hatred from opposition fans. And sometimes even superstar athletes.
As Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continue their dominance, Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews’ behavior makes them an easy target for fans. Whether it is justified or not is up to everyone’s own interpretation. The quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs’ brother was recently accused of sexual assault and has been officially booked and brought into custody on charges of aggravated sexual battery.
The alleged incident happened in February, shortly after Mahomes celebrated the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory and Patrick’s Super Bowl MVP title. The quarterback’s brother was seen kissing the restaurant owner in a video that was leaked at the time. During the incident, he allegedly assaulted the victim.
