Following back-to-back appearances on the holiday in 2023 and 2024, the reigning NFL powerhouse has reportedly made a request to make the Chiefs a Christmas Day fixture, just as the Cowboys and Lions are synonymous with Thanksgiving.

While the NFL is expanding its Christmas Day presence with three games on the 2025 schedule, it remains to be seen whether any team will be given a permanent slot. The Chiefs, however, are hoping to change that.
