Patrick Mahomes did it again, this time on a bum ankle. The former Texas Tech star quarterback led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 38-35 victory in Super Bowl LVII Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, as Mahomes led the game-winning drive that ended in a field goal by Harrison Butker with seven seconds left. Mahomes won his second Super Bowl, overcoming a big effort by Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles led by 10 points at halftime and by six points in the fourth quarter. Hurts accounted for four touchdowns, and Mahomes said he even tweaked his high ankle sprain in the first half.
Nonetheless, Mahomes led a dramatic comeback after halftime.
